Flushing, Queens (WABC) – A man was killed by a suspect who broke into an apartment on the second floor on Sunday in Queens.

The incident happened shortly after 2 am on the 57th road to Flushing.

Police said a 35-year-old suspect broke into a second-floor apartment from a balcony.

The couple inside was awakened by an attacker who stabbed a 35-year-old man several times.

Police pronounced him dead.

Then the victim’s wife ran out of the apartment for help.
Response officers saw the suspect coming down from the balcony of the apartment.

The suspect also tried to get into the apartment on the third floor, climbing onto the balcony, but could not get.

Police used a stun gun against the 35-year-old boy and took him into custody. He was then charged with murder, burglary and criminal possession of a weapon.
