Lower Manhattan (WABC) – A man died after being shot in the chest on a New York subway train.
A 46-year-old man was aboard train Q north on Canal Street when he was shot in the chest late Sunday morning.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he died.
The suspect escaped, no detentions were made. Police are still looking for an armed man.
All N and Q trains to the north run with delays while New York City police conduct an investigation on Channel Street.
