Firm on betting and online games 888 went to live with S.I. Sportsbook in Virginia, its second launch in the US.
The sports bookmaker SI, specially created for the American market, is a combination of patented 888 technology with the brand Sports Illustrated.
The bookmaker has a variety of betting options, including expanded in-game markets, and uses official data from popular sports leagues and tournaments such as the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NASCAR and the English Premier League.
Virginia is the second issue of the bookmaker SI Sportsbook in the US since the bookmaker launched Colorado last September.
As part of its launch in Old Dominion 888 agreed to partner with Ltd. Virtual Entertainment Partners (VEP), certified small, female and minority (SWaM), based in Virginia, with 100% ownership by African American women.
With local VEP experience, the gaming firm will make a “significant contribution to communities across Virginia, particularly minority communities, to increase significant value, opportunity, and diversity for Virginia residents”.
