GLENDALE, Queens (WABC) — Commuters driving along Jackie Robinson Drive in Queens witnessed a horrific road incident Thursday morning.
Around 5:45 a.m., the 38-year-old driver was on the Parkway exit at Cypress Hill Street when another vehicle pulled up next to him.
One of the passengers yelled, “You cut us off,” before multiple shots rang out, police said.
The driver was shot in the back and was treated on the spot.
The suspects fled back onto Jackie Robinson Parkway in a white Acura with Pennsylvania plates.
There were no arrests.
