A longtime LA Kings fan and season ticket holder was set before Tuesday’s opening night … when a slap cleared the boards and landed in the guy’s face, breaking his nose and cutting his forehead.
fan, Jeremy Aaronson, attended the game at the Crypto.com Arena with his 11-year-old son. Before the first period, Aaronson and his boy stood near the glass and watched the Kings warm up before their game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
That’s when a Kings player took a shot that flew … hitting Jeremy in the nose, breaking it in the process. Paramedics treated Aaronson in the arena, but his injuries required medical attention at the hospital.
So instead of watching the premiere live and in person, Jeremy was forced to ride in an ambulance and watch the game on his phone.
Fortunately, Jeremy’s son was able to stay and watch the game with friends who happened to be at the arena.
As for his condition, Jeremy tells us he saw a specialist on Wednesday and the doctor told him his nose was broken.
Aaronson will need further treatment from a nose doctor once the swelling goes down.
Jeremy was also cut open by the puck.
By mid-afternoon Wednesday, to his surprise, the Kings had yet to reach out to Jeremy to check him out … much to the longtime fan’s dismay.
The Kings lost to the Golden Knights 4-3.
We’ve reached out to the organization for comment, but have yet to hear back.
