NAPLES
A man was arrested after police say he hit a bicyclist and left the scene at a Naples intersection Friday.
According to the Naples Police Department, David Preston hit a bicyclist at US-41 and 10th Street South. Preston did not stop or render any aid to the victim before leaving the scene.
EMS treated the woman on the bicycle before she was taken to Fort Myers Trauma Center for evaluation.
Officers found Preston just minutes after the crash.
