A Chicago man has been sentenced to three years in prison after he reportedly bit off another man’s nipple during a traffic incident last summer.

CWB Chicago reports that Kyle Clark, 36, pleaded guilty on Sept. 29 to aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

The suspect in the attack has already been on electronic monitoring probation since the incident last summer

Judge Lawrence Flood sentenced Clark to three years in prison to run concurrently on each count, with 405 days Clark had already served in custody while the case was pending.

Most of this credit was obtained with the help of electronic monitoring, according to the publication.

The off-duty police officer and another victim, both 38-year-old men, were driving north on Lake Shore Drive around 11:40 p.m. on August 8, 2021, when Clark’s black Volkswagen Jetta sideswiped them near Jackson Street.

The men pulled up to the Jetta and ordered Clark to stop the vehicle so they could file a crash report, with an off-duty police officer identifying himself as a Chicago police officer, prosecutors said during Clark’s first bail hearing.

Clark and the man both got out of their cars and began fighting, with Clark punching the officer twice in the face, prosecutors said.

When the other victim tried to help the officer, Clark reportedly bit the man’s nipple, ripping it completely off his body.

Clark was eventually taken into custody after officers arrived. The man, who lost his nipple, was taken to the district hospital, where he was stitched up, the publication reports.

He was also reportedly carrying a gun at the time of the incident.

Clark’s sentence was part of a plea deal with prosecutors, who dropped two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of assault with a weapon in exchange for the guilty plea.

Although his parole date has yet to be set, the three-year sentence is already technically halfway through under the state’s standard good-behavior discount.

Clark is likely to be released after about 140 days of time served.

Social media is having a field day with the outlandish nature of Clarke’s allegations

Social media has had a wild day with ridiculous accusations.

“Kyle Clark, 35, also had a gun in the car, according to the charges. But you’re probably more interested in hearing about the pacifier,” one person was quoted as saying on Twitter.

“Kyle Clarke, 35, also had a gun in the car but his teeth in his mouth,” joked another.

“This is a news organization that knows its readers well and makes sure they don’t leave you without anything to do,” a third newspaper wrote about the bite-off nipple report.

As of Wednesday, there was not much information about Clark. Google and social media searches turned up little, and coverage of the story remained sparse as of this writing.
