A tourist from Hawaii won more than $717,000 on a slot machine in Las Vegas on October 7, 2022. She bet $15 on it.

The tourist wanted to change things up during his time in Las Vegas, and it paid off.

A woman from Hawaii, who wished to remain anonymous, booked a hotel room at the address Boyd Gaming’s Fremont Hotel & Casino instead of her usual stay at a California hotel and casino, Boyd Gaming said in a press release.

When she went to play Aristocrat’s Buffalo Inferno for $5 at the hotel on Friday, Oct. 7, she bet $100 and bet $15, the release said.

Her first spin netted her a jackpot of $717,738.88, the company said.

In September, a guest won a $110,363 jackpot after playing Pai Gow Poker at The Orleans Hotel & Casino, according to the release.
