TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A trial date has been set for a man accused of trying to kill three family members and killing a Tallahassee Police Department officer.

Tyrone D. Cleveland, 37, is scheduled to be arraigned Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, in a Leon County courtroom, according to a document filed Tuesday with the Leon County Clerk of Circuit Court and Comptroller.

The trial could last up to two weeks, but there will be no trial on Friday, November 10 due to the weekend.

Cleveland is accused of killing a Tallahassee Police Department officer Christopher Farielloattempted first-degree murder of three family members, along with multiple firearms and illegal drug charges, stemming from incidents late on the night of June 7 through the morning of June 8, 2022.

Fariello was killed in a car crash with Cleveland June 8, 2022 after Cleveland allegedly fired a firearm at three family members and left the scene of the shooting in a vehicle.
