High temperatures will return to the mid to low 80s with partly cloudy skies. The wind will remain southerly, increasing to fifteen miles per hour in the afternoon, with gusts reaching twenty degrees at times. Boaters will experience another day of light swells in our bays with one to two foot waves in the Gulf.
Showers are forecast for Friday. They will be short-lived and will occur periodically throughout the region during the day and night. Most of us will miss the rain entirely. Saturday will be cooler and drier, and Sunday will be hotter and more likely to rain.
