Boeing Co. will hold a job fair on Wednesday to fill many new positions.
Dee Russell, a senior communications specialist for the Southeast Boeing region, said the company is looking to fill about 70 positions, most of them in Brevard County.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday (May 25) at the Hyatt Place Titusville / Kanedy Space Center, 6299 Riverfront Blvd., Titusville.

Boeing employs a variety of engineers, technicians and designers to work in several programs, including the International Space Station, Starliner and the Space Launch System.
Russell said salaries in available positions range from $ 70,000 to $ 120,000 a year.
Boeing said “mid- and top-level experience will be considered, including skills that can be transferred from other industries.”
Some positions require active US secret admission.

Boeing said its wage and benefit packages include “competitive compensation”, comprehensive health and wellness benefits, paid leave, a 401 (k) plan and tuition assistance. Reimbursement of relocation costs will be available for some positions.
Boeing does not disclose the number of its employees in individual communities. But Russell said the company has about 2,730 employees in various locations in Florida who support both defense and commercial customers in space, aircraft modification and maintenance, and commercial aviation services. The largest concentrations of these employees are in the Kennedy Space Center, as well as in Fort Walton Beach, Jacksonville and Miami.
Boeing develops, manufactures and maintains commercial aircraft, defense products and space systems for customers in more than 150 countries.
