NAPLES
David Goronzik sees the future of cinema in its past. He wants Naples to see it, too, in a place he believes was made for it.
Goronzik and his business partner, his wife, Cecilia, are proposing a boutique movie theater at the southeast corner of Thomasson and Bayshore Drive that will specialize in vintage and personally produced films. It will not be a premiere blockbuster, but a selected classic, sometimes adapted to a special day or season. Events such as the Naples Winter Wine Festival or Cars on Fifth can create a week of films dedicated to their themes.
