Brandy shares health information after several reports On October 12, it was claimed that she was hospitalized due to a possible seizure. “To my beloved family, friends, and stars, thank you for loving and lighting my path,” she wrote in an Instagram Story. “I’m following doctors orders and getting much needed rest due to dehydration and low nutrition. Thanks for your prayers and support. Grateful for you all, see you soon. ❤️⭐️”
TMZ first reported the news, claiming that law enforcement sources said they received an emergency call at Brandy’s home on October 11 around noon. A representative for Brandy did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR’s request for comment.
In June 2017, the Grammy winner experienced a similar incident when she was found unconscious on a Delta flight scheduled to fly from Los Angeles to JFK. Entertainment Tonight reported. At the time, the Los Angeles County Fire Department and a Delta spokesperson confirmed to the publication that a passenger on the flight, believed to be Brandi, was taken to a local hospital by ambulance. A representative for the singer later released a statement to ET after she was released from the hospital.
“She’s been traveling a lot as part of the current tour and several personal appearances,” Brandi’s rep previously told ET. “Over the past few days she has taken over 10 long haul flights, including international ones. Last night she was in the studio all night until it was time to go to the airport to catch a 5:45am flight. The stress of all the traveling and non-stop work exhausted her.”
