FHSAA regional baseball and softball pairs were announced on Saturday, and 16 Brevard County teams qualified for the brackets.
Everyone district champion the game will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Other teams have been selected based on power rating, and will travel on a trip.
The Viera High baseball team has earned the only number 1 in the area based on the Hawks 7-1 victory over Melbourne in County 11-6A last Thursday in St. Cloud.
The Astronaut baseball team has won first place in the region since 1997.
