LONDON – The British prosecutor’s office said on Thursday that it had accused actor Kevin Spacey of four cases of sexual assault against three men.

The Crown Prosecution Service said Spacey was “also accused of forcing a person to engage in penetrating sexual activity without consent.”

The alleged incidents took place in London between March 2005 and August 2008 and in the West of England in April 2013.

Rosemary Ainsley, head of the special services anti-crime service, said the allegations stem from a review of evidence gathered by London Metropolitan Police.

Spacey, a 62-year-old double Oscar winner, was questioned by British police in 2019 about the allegations of several men that he attacked them.

The former Star of the House of Cards ran London’s Old Vic Theater from 2004 to 2015.
