When “A Chorus Line” touches on Broadway dancers ’plots,“[title of show]”, With his super-short screenings on May 27 and 28 in Historical Game Cocoa Village Playhousedeeply immersed in the creative process – plus countless hopes and prayers – included in the Broadway musical.
The authors themselves describe it as “an original musical that describes its own journey from the beginning to the opening night on Broadway.”
The production starred John Dudley and Hailey Vervalin, last seen in the Playhouse in the film “John and Jen”.
“Hailey and John grew up on our stage before entering college and enjoying a professional career outside of Broadway and across the East Coast,” said CEO Dr. Anastasia Hawkins-Smith.
Vervalin was admitted to the exclusive Royal Conservatory of Scotland and has performed across Europe in productions of “Chess Musical” and “Brigadier” before returning to New York and then touring Canada.
Dudley graduated from the University of Coastal Carolina and has worked with Broadway veterans such as Lee Roy Rims, Stephen Sposita, Adam Pelty and Beck Tims.

“We lull you”
Another not-quite-typical show is this Henegar Center“We Will Rock You,” which was only supposed to go one weekend, but quickly caused such a stir before the opening night that executive art director Dominique Del Broco increased the series to three weeks, from May 27 to June 12.
The surreal plot is very subtle, but who needs a plot if you have more than 20 Queen hits, including “We Will Rock You”, “We are the Champions” and “Bohemian Rhapsody”?
The story as it is unfolds in the murky Orwellian world 300 years into the future, when everyone wears the same clothes and rock music is banned until some free spirits take action and try to change things.
“We Will Rock You is a ridiculous revel in the Queen’s music library, which unfolds in one of the most unusual moods,” said Del Brocco.
The show is the perfect hilarious ending to the usual classic and more serious Henegar season.
“We Will Rock You” is approaching our 31st season and has already broken box office records even before it opened. In fact, so much so that before the audition or casting we have already chosen performances for 80% of the capacity, “- added Del Broca.

The main roles in the production of Henegar are played by Eric Barnum and Melinda Benya in the role of unlikely heroes Galileo and Scaramush, who join the Bohemian resistance led by Oz (Kara Howard) and Brit (Chris Fellows) and fight with the Queen-Assassin. performances by Angela Tims). ) as they fight to regain their memory and save humanity from the modern redundant mix of processed, soulless pop music.
“The cast promises to deliver the best vocals, dazzling lights and effects, as well as all the great stuff that makes a visit to any rock concert,” Del Brocco added. He also promised items that glow in the dark, including items to buy, as well as themed show drinks and an exciting finale that sings for a long time.
“We Will Rock You” is a fun, different and not too serious evening and a great way to start the summer, “Del Broco said.
