Chestnut will travel to Ole miss for an SEC match on Saturday at noon to start week 7 college football season.
Auburn enters this game at 3-3, having lost two straight LDU and Georgia. The team’s defense has struggled this year as they are giving up 25 points per game.
Ole Miss, on the other hand, is undefeated and flying high on both ends, scoring 39.7 points per game while giving up just 14.5.
Here’s everything you need in terms of betting on the Auburn vs. Ole Miss game, from the point spread, money line, overall over/under and expert picks (odds via Bet FOX).
Chestnut in No. 9 Ole miss (12:00 p.m. ET, Saturday, ESPN)
Point Spread: Ole Miss -14.5 (Ole Miss is favored to win by more than 14.5 points, otherwise Auburn covers)
Cash line: Ole Miss -714 favorite to win (bet $10 to win $11.40 total); Auburn is a +415 underdog to win (bet $10 to win $51.50)
Total points over/under: 54 points scored by both teams combined
Picks via gambling analyst Sam Panajotovic:
I don’t think Brian Harsin is ready to commit to Auburn.
The former Boise State head coach is 9-10 so far, and things aren’t getting any better. Auburn has already blown out twice, and roadblocks remain at Mississippi State and Alabama further down the stretch.
After starting the season with five straight home games, the Tigers have reached the toughest part of their schedule. They were crushed by Georgia 42-10 in Athens and must now regroup and face Ole Miss in Oxford.
I expect Lane Kiffin to smell blood in the water and go after Rebels running backs Quinshan Judkins and Zach Evans for a second-half rout.
It can get ugly.
Choose: Ole Miss (-14.5 at FOX Bet) to win by more than 14.5 points
