Comcast is working hard to reconnect with its customers following the damage caused by Hurricane Ian.
According to Comcast, the response team consists of more than 1,700 technicians, and network maintenance and engineering professionals continue to make steady progress in repairing equipment and infrastructure damage caused by Hurricane Ian. Comcast continues to restore the connection of affected customers as quickly as possible.
Comcast said it hears and understands the frustration its customers are feeling. And crews will continue to work, regardless of the circumstances, until Comcast restores service to every affected customer.
As of Monday, there are 13 service areas that are mostly restored, meaning that equates to roughly 90% of customers in that area. But just because they’ve reached that mark doesn’t mean they’re moving on. Comcast said its crews will continue to work on small outages in pockets that could be individual homes or neighboring streets.
Comcast went on to provide a recovery schedule based on an assessment of network damage as well as the condition of local Comcast plants in the affected areas.
Comcast’s recovery timeline is below.

If you live in a largely restored location and have no service, try restarting your modem first. If you still don’t have the energy after that, talk to a Xfinity Assistant for assistance or by calling 1-800-934-6489 to report service interruptions.
