David Ewatowski, a graduate of Grossman Medical School, overcame serious obstacles to accepting his degree.
Evatovsky walked the stage – a feat that seemed impossible a few years ago.
He was injured in a horrific bicycle accident in his sophomore year as a result of which he suffered a head injury.
After a month of coma he had to learn to walk and talk.He is now a doctor.
He and 106 other graduates received a doctorate in medicine and read the Hippocratic Oath when they began their medical careers.
The keynote speaker was New York Mayor Eric Adams.
