Lamar Odom is not in a romantic relationship with a transgender actress/model Danieland Alexey … despite several social media posts that have sparked speculation that they are dating.
Sources close to Lamar tell TMZ … that the former NBA player is currently single and not dating Danielle, but they know each other and are friendly — which is pretty clear from her social media.
We’re told Lamar and Danielle met in June while he was in Los Angeles for the BET Awards. Our sources say Lamar was out shopping when a car pulled up, Danielle jumped out and asked for a photo … and they exchanged numbers afterward.
They kept in touch, and when he recently returned to Los Angeles, they had lunch together as they were both in town. Danielle is an up-and-coming actress and our sources say they usually chat about the industry.
Daniiellè’s posted some photos of Lamar that fueled dating rumors … but we’re told they’re just friends.

By the way, our sources also tell us that Lamar has no problem with the trans community in general, and apparently has no problem with Danielle being a trans woman — there just isn’t a romantic spark between them.
