DOUGLASTON, Queens (WABC) — On Saturday, there was another protest against Republican Congressman George Santos.
Several drag performers took part in a rally they called “Draw Santos” in front of the congressman’s office in Queens.
The group says Santos should resign or be expelled for his lies and hypocrisy.
Other protesters included students who say they disliked Santos before they learned he made up stories about his past.
“We are embarrassed to be represented by someone who does not represent our values, who cannot do his job, who is failing his constituents and exploiting every community in New York 3 along the way,” said one student.
Earlier this week, the House Ethics Committee formed a special subcommittee to investigate Santos.
