Golden State Warriors
Draymond Green says that he will be able to coexist with Jordan Poole and compete for a championship together … but when it comes to becoming friends again, he’s “not sure” that’s going to happen.
On Thursday, Green addressed the media for the first time since returning to the Warriors … and made it clear he’s ready to put an end to last week’s practice spat and focus on the season.
Draymond says he spent time with his kids while away from the team … and had some “long days” dealing with the aftermath practice stroke.
When it comes to rebuilding his previously strained personal relationship with Poole, Green says the ball is in his court … and it certainly doesn’t sound like he’s holding his breath.
“I’m not sure,” Green added. “Like I said before, it’s not up to me. I don’t think it matters much either.”
“Honestly, we both know how to play basketball and that’s the most important thing for us. We are paid to do a job and we will come in and do the job to the best of our ability. We want to keep winning so we’ll do what we have to do to win.”

Draymond Green allegedly called Poole a “bitch” in practice before the hit
How TMZ Sports previously reported … the beef between Draymond and Poole started in the parking lot and aggravated at team training last Wednesday, when our on-site sources say Poole committed several fouls during the scrimmage, resulting in Draymond calling him a “bitch” several times.
Sources say Poole has recently become “bullied” about his future contract, but several players have vehemently denied this.
Draymond was fined an unknown amount for a shot at Poole … but won’t miss a single regular season game.
