The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards took place on Tuesday, with some of the biggest names in hip-hop being recognized for their talent. One artist was the winner that night GloRilla.

She was nominated for Best Breakthrough Hip-Hop Artist and was up against the likes of Baby Keem, Blxst, Doechii, Fivio Foreign, Nardo Wick and Saucy Santana.

Fivio is foreign later took to Twitter to make it clear he wasn’t upset about losing the GloRilla award. He said,

“I wasn’t robbed…Glorilla won because she deserved it and I’m happy for her.”

From having her and Hitkidd’s now hit single ‘FNF (Let’s Go)’ taking social media to the top of the charts, there’s no doubt that GloRilla is just heating up as she continues her preparations for superstardom. Her appearance at this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards proved that there is more on the horizon as she continues to represent the city of Memphis.

Not only did she receive her first award, but her performance of “Tomorrow” and “FNF (Let’s Go)” on the show was her first official appearance on the show.

After a big win at BET’s Hip-Hop Awards, GloRilla has announced that she will be releasing her debut EP “Anyway, life is wonderful…” November 11.
