It’s been a rough couple of days for the former WWE Superstar Velvet dream last week – TMZ Sports confirmed that he had been arrested twice in Florida.
According to court records, V.D. – real name Patrick Clark – was initially arrested on August 20 by the Orlando Police Department and charged with battery and trespassing after a warning.
It’s unclear exactly what the wrestler is charged with — we’re working on that — but records show his attorney entered a written plea of not guilty, and a September arraignment hearing was canceled.
Just six days later, on Aug. 26, Clark was arrested again in Orange County, Florida, according to jail records.
Orange County Department of Corrections officials tell us the Orlando Police Department has obtained an out-of-county warrant for a probation violation.
We’re told it’s all related to a previous drug case against the wrestler in Seminole County, Florida.
OCCD officials say Clark is currently in custody and is still being held at the Orange County Jail. He is expected to be transferred to Seminole County soon.
The 27-year-old first joined WWE in 2015 – and has become a star in the NXT organization, displaying insane athleticism and over-the-top promos, gimmicks and moves. However, in 2020, he was overshadowed by scandal after allegations that he sent indecent photos to underage children. He categorically denied the claims.
Eventually he left the org. in 2021 … but appeared to be aiming for a comeback earlier this month, posting on his social media page for the first time in more than a year.
