IONA
A helicopter carrying four passengers crashed in Iona on Saturday evening.
All four people in the helicopter were taken to the hospital, according to the Iona McGregor Fire Department.
The accident happened behind the fire station. There was a small fire at the scene of the accident, which was extinguished.
Because the helicopter went down behind the fire station, crews were able to respond immediately.
According to a public information officer, it was a private helicopter working on communications systems related to the hurricane.
