Gisele Bundchen on the left Tom Brady recently announced that their marriage is over, but TMZ has learned that this is NOT the first time.
Sources connected to Gisele tell TMZ … Gisele split up with Tom and threatened to divorce him several times over the years … and it was over football.

Our sources say the sticking point for years was that Gisele wanted Tom out of the game … and while she’s been public about her fear that he might develop CTE, she’s been very upset about his NFL schedule … which takes him all over the country for 6 months of the year. We’re told she just hates it.
We’re told Gisele has threatened divorce in the past – each time over football – but they’ve been able to come to an agreement. However, this time we were told it was different.
Both have hired prominent family law attorneys in South Florida … and her attorney has represented a number of celebrities in high-profile divorces. Our sources say that lawyers are already working on the terms, including property.
We’re told it’s “as amicable as possible”. Tom and Giselle talk, but there is still tension.
