Grace Gummer and Mark Ronson had something to celebrate their anniversary: the 36-year-old actor and the 47-year-old music producer are expecting their first child after a year of marriage, People reported on October 13. The day before, the pair were photographed exchanging loving glances at a W magazine party in New York. Shortly before that, they also attended a Clooney Foundation for Justice event Homer’s famous mom, Meryl Streep.
Homer and Ronson married in August 2021 after a year of acquaintance. Ronson recently common photos of their anniversary vacation, writing: “When people told me their husband was their best friend, I thought they were talking nonsense or that they were some freaky anomaly of love. So now I guess I’m either someone who exhibits the hallmarks of bullshit, or I’m just a love anomaly. Or maybe I just married the most incredible man. Happy anniversary my dear, you made me happier.”
The rather private couple made their first public appearance together in July 2021 at a Gucci event in the Hamptons. Before getting together, they were both married once: Gummer married musician Tay Strathearn 42 days before their split in 2019, and Ronson was married to actor and singer Josephine de La Baum for five years before their split in 2017. This is the first child for Homer and Ronson.
