More news has become available about the suspect responsible for the death Robb Elementary School shooting in Uwald, Texas. According to ABC News, Governor Greg Abbott has identified the suspect as the 18-year-old deceased suspect Salvador Ramos. During an unrelated press briefing, Governor Abbott spoke of Uwalde High School student, saying: “He shot and killed horribly and incomprehensibly 14 students and killed a teacher.”

Governor Abbott went on to talk about the tragedy, saying, “What happened in Uwald is a horrific tragedy that cannot be tolerated in Texas. Local law enforcement is taking swift action. It is assumed that he was killed by the response officers, ”he said. “It looks like two officers were injured but were not seriously injured.”

In addition, with regard to the lives killed in primary school, the governor also stated that El Salvador also allegedly shot his grandmother before entering the school and opened fire. As we reported earlier, several victims after the shooting were taken to local hospitals.

CNN reports that two victims, a severely injured 10-year-old girl and a 66-year-old woman, are being treated at the University Health System in San Antonio, Texas. The hospital announced via Facebook: “We got two patients from a shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uwald. One patient is a 66-year-old woman. The second patient is a 10-year-old girl. Both patients are in serious condition. ” The message continued: “Our hearts are broken for the people who have suffered from this senseless tragedy. Our thoughts are with the patients, families, students, teachers and people of this community. ”
