James Harden took a sensational step forward in the postseason for the 76ers with a step back 3s that restored his dominant form. Joel Embid plays better, and the MVP finalist may have the best basketball ahead.

Embiid is ready. So is Harden. And if the Miami Heat can’t understand “The Mask” and “The Beard,” the next thing they’ll face may be the offseason.

“I don’t think we played our best basketball,” Embid said.

Harden scored 31 points, Embid scored 24 points and 11 rebounds, and the Philadelphia 76ers won the Miami 116-108 Sunday night in Game 4 and tied for the Eastern Conference semifinals.

The Heat won the first two games in Miami with Embiid with a fracture of the right orbit and a mild concussion. The 76ers won games 3 and 4 at home with Embiid and his mask in the lineup.

Ah, yes, this time Embid along with the trip. Not surprisingly, the 76ers feel better about their chances on this trip to Florida.

“Joel will be able to play,” laughing coach Doc Rivers said.

The Heat snatched the lead and reached five until Harden scored his fifth three-pointer in the game three minutes before the end. Harden defeated Heath in 3 shots and struck one after another, scoring 16 points in the fourth. He finally played in the postseason as the three-time champion who killed the Sixers when they traded for him in February.

“In fact, nothing has changed. I just took pictures, ”Harden said.

Harden took a step back 3 for a 114-103 lead that drove the crowd into a frenzy – and the Sixers headed to Miami with a new life. He finished with six three-pointers, nine assists and seven rebounds.

“It’s just James – James,” Rivers said. “I felt he would have a great game today. You can just feel it. ”

Jimmy Butler scored 40 points with 13 of 20 throws from the floor, 12 of 13 free throws and almost alone led Heath to victory. The hit, who scored 38% of 3 points during the season, missed 28 of 35 three-pointers.

“I thought we had a very good look. We just missed them, ”said Heat coach Eric Spoelstra.

Embid worked out the web in Game 3 and returned to the dominant form that brought him the “MVP” during the season! singing from branches. His first quarter was about as good as for the center. He made 5 of 6 shots, including a three-pointer, and scored 15 points to bring the Sixers ahead. Worn out of the game 3 days of inactivity due to a concussion, Embid played all 12 minutes in the quarter.

That’s a scary thought for Miami.

“We haven’t seen a better Joel in this series yet,” Rivers said. “He’s still trying to figure out how to play with that mask that glides all over his face.”

After a zero first quarter Harden followed Embiid’s hot start and scored 13 in the second. He missed his first four shots in the game until he buried the top three and then left. He scored a bucket in the transition during the 15-2 run and then waved his arms toward the crowd, urging them to get louder.

Philadelphia 64% throw from the floor in half. But 10 turns, which Miami converted to 13 points, did not allow the Sixers to significantly increase the advantage to double digits. The Sixers made nine 3s in the half against four in Miami.

Butler retained the “Hit” in the game with six points in a row. He struck for days, was beaten in the face by Embiid – who was whistled for outrageous, then helped his former teammate to his feet – and Butler made a free throw. Butler scored 3 from possession and Heath pulled to 74-70.

Butler scored Embid’s third foul with a score of 1:37 in the third and implemented a three-point game that dragged Heath for four. Butler trolled Embid on Instagram after the Sixers posted a picture of him in a mask and quoted a line from “The Dark Knight Rises.”

“(Medicine) mask,” wrote Butler.

Butler scored 17 points in the third, but Heath was still 89-85 behind. Fans of the 76ers allowed him to get it when Butler fired from a balloon in the fourth, while Harden dropped and took a step back 3 for a 97-85 lead.

“He’s a good player. He did what he had to do, ”Butler said of Harden.

Butler scored 33 points in Game 3 and is holding the heat. Basically he does it alone.

Embid, well he has Harden.

“That’s why he’s here,” Embid said. “Only 2-2. We have a lot of work to do. But I’m thrilled with what we can achieve. “

Heat: Daven Deadman (illness) was eliminated in the 4th game. … Lowry, who scored his first bucket in the series on the finish, went to the locker room in the first half with a wobbly hamstring. He missed four playoff games in a row before game 3 due to tension in his left hamstring. Spoelstra said Lowry was a “warrior” but was not sure if the guard would play game 5.

76ers: Tobias Harris lost his voice and felt pain when at the end of the game Bam Adebayo received a blow to the breath.
