Anti-abortion Republican senatorial candidate Herschel Walker allegedly urged the mother of his child to have an abortion during a separate pregnancy, after the NFL legend initially tried to deny knowing who the woman was.
The mother of Walker’s child, who has not been named due to privacy and security concerns, has revealed that he fully supported her abortion when the child from another pregnancy was his, according to a stunning report The Daily Beast.
Walker tries to deny allegations that he urged a woman pregnant with his child to have an abortion
On Wednesday, Walker tried to vehemently deny the story and said he did not know who made the claim in an interview with Fox News host Brian Kilmead, who asked Walker if he had deduced the woman’s identity based on details in the original report.
“Not at all,” Walker replied. “And that’s what I hope everyone can see. It’s like everybody’s anonymous, or everybody’s writing and they want you to admit something you have no idea about.’
The 60-year-old then tried to pass off the report as a politically motivated attack by “desperate” Democrats who want to keep control of the crucial Georgia state Senate seat he is now running for.
Herschel Walker says he has no idea who this woman is who claims she had an abortion at his request.
We can now reveal, with her permission, that the woman is actually the mother of one of his children. She has something to say: https://t.co/MrpT8wPIkz

He added that he was “encouraged” by the report, which paints him as a hypocrite, and is not giving up on his quest for the nomination.
“They see me as a big threat and I know that, and I knew that going into this race. But they don’t understand that I think they came for the wrong thing. They energized me,” Walker said. “They energized me because I know how much they really want to try to save this place.”
The woman in question called Herschel Walker’s defense ridiculous and was ‘stunned’ by the response
The woman in question called Herschel’s defense ridiculous and said she was “stunned” by his response but also not completely shocked, adding that he may have “really forgotten about it” but “it also says something (about him).”
“Of course I was stunned, but I guess I’m also not shocked that maybe there are so many of us that he really doesn’t remember,” she said. “But then again, if he really forgot about it, that’s also saying something.”
The Daily Beast reports that the woman is a registered Democrat who continued a years-long relationship with Walker even after the abortion.
She told the publication that her main concern about revealing her identity is that she is the mother of one of Walker’s children and intends to protect her family’s privacy while telling the truth.
Walker, a registered Democrat, has publicly acknowledged that the woman is the mother of one of his children
Walker has publicly acknowledged that the child is his, and the woman has provided The Daily Beast with enough credible evidence to prove that she is the child’s mother, the paper reported.
Walker and his company reportedly declined to comment on The Daily Beast’s article.
One of Walker’s three sons, conservative social media influencer Christian Walker, has since released a series of videos and statements calling his father a liar and even claiming the University of Georgia football star and legendary NFL quarterback had threatened to kill him and his mother – Ex Walker’s wife.
Walker’s son, a conservative social media writer, calls his father a ‘liar’
He said his dad was “not a family man” and made “us move six times in six months because of your abuse”.
“I know my mom and I would really appreciate it if my father, Herschel Walker, would stop lying and bullying us,” Christian Walker tweeted after the abortion news broke Monday night. “You are not a ‘family man’ when you left us to fuck a bunch of women, threatened to kill us and made us move 6 times in 6 months to escape your abuse.”
Meanwhile, an anonymous woman quoted in The Daily Beast’s report said she remained “good game” about Herschel’s senatorial campaign, but added that she could no longer remain silent on the issue.
“Up until now I have been very civilized. I keep my mouth shut. I don’t cause any problems. I stay in the background. But I’m also not going to be interrupted again and again,” she said. “It’s crazy.”
Walker’s senatorial campaign offers conflicting explanations for the bomb report
Walker and his campaign team offered conflicting explanations for the damning report, first calling it a “lie” before turning to a sense of forgiveness and religious redemption.
Walker released a new ad on Wednesday in which he opened up about his struggles with mental health, “by the grace of God,” he added.
In a June interview with The Daily Beast, Walker lied about his role in abortion and was caught doing the same when he spoke on video with a Democratic activist posing as one of his supporters.
