A woman Udok’s name accused of cheating Nia Long from at work, which led to his suspension for the entire season, inside sources now reveal.

Kathleen Nimmo Lynch is the Service Manager for the team directly assisting Udoka
The Celtics have never confirmed that Lynch is the woman named in their internal investigation, although her name was reportedly leaked online shortly after Udoka’s suspension was announced.

The Daily Mail reports that Lynch’s job duties included arranging travel, lodging and game tickets for members of the Celtics family at home and on the road. She also apparently arranged a trip for Udoka’s fiancee, actress Nia Long, when she and her children moved to Boston last month.

On September 22, the Boston Celtics issued a press release announcing that head coach Udok would be suspended for the entire 2022-2023 NBA season after his cheating scandal with a staff member came to light. The franchise said Udoka violated team policy.
The Boston Celtics announced today that the team has suspended head coach Udoka for the 2022-23 season. for violating team rules. A decision on his future with the Celtics after this season will be made at a later date. The suspension is effective immediately.”

Soon after, Udoka apologized for his actions.

Nia Long has not officially addressed the scandal PEOPLE she appreciated the support she is receiving and asked people to respect her privacy at this time.
