Broadway Theater where Jesse Williams The whole thing is the explosion of a man who stole his video in a buff and then posted it online.
Jesse gets completely naked in the new Broadway show “Take Me Out”, but one theater managed to record a video of the nude scene and place it in the masses, despite the fact that the theater required viewers to place phones and smart devices in closed cases before show.
Now, the 2nd Stage Theater is speaking after the leak on Monday, saying … “It’s unfortunate that one of the spectators decided not to respect the production, their fellow audiences and, most importantly, the cast in the matter.”
The leaked video, which appeared the day Jesse was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Performance, shows a scene in the soul with complete nudity.
The second stage says that posting the video on the Internet “is a gross and unacceptable breach of trust between the actor and the audience” … and the theater says it is trying to strike out the material.
It is unclear how the man managed to take the footage … the cases used to lock the devices can only be unlocked in the lobby … and the theater says it is adding additional staff to ensure a policy without cameras.
