John Mulani he is usually loved by everyone, but right now – he swears a lot … all because he allowed it Dave Chapel open to him, and the guy told “antitrans” jokes.
Here’s the deal … John had a comedy show Friday night in Columbus, Aha – where phones were locked in a bag so no one could record – and, according to people who flocked to social media after that, Columbus County was unexpected. a guest who made the set before John left.
My favorite part of tonight was when Dave Chapel ambushed us on the John Mulani show, told a bunch of transphobic jokes, a lot of people laughed, and then John Mulani hugged him at the end

Many of these people say they were ambushed by Dave’s presence, especially since he allegedly continued to tell what they described as transphobic / homophobic jokes.
The argument is that these paying customers came to look at JM – not Dave – and many of them are either part of the LGBT crowd or consider themselves allies … continuing to say they would never buy tickets if they I knew Chapel was going to show up.
John Mulani is a piece of shit for never treating the many trans members of his audience who had to sit through Chapelle’s unnecessary transphobic tirades, which he calls jokes. Can trans people breathe? 💙 to everyone who felt in danger and who they laughed at

Of course, it all dates back to the controversy over its special-purpose Netflix“The Closer,” which some say is transphobic – even though DC denies it, and a streamer sticks out near it.
As for what exactly was said to be transphobic (in the minds of these users) … it would be hard for you to find someone who actually described the crack (s) in detail, but someone finally did . Allegedly a noxious joke was about the stage crasher and the gun / knife he had with him.
“I mean it wasn’t a gun, it was a knife! A pistol that identifies as a knife? ”
Then he paused, smiled a little, and hurried on.– The homophobic joke was that he said, “Maybe you’re both gay, I don’t know, there’s nothing wrong with that, if that’s the case.”

Dave seems to have said something like … it was a knife that was identified as a pistol, which some took as a hint of gender fluency – and of course, that’s a fair assessment.
He moved on from this – it seems, after laughing – and then joked about a couple of members of the audience who he thought might be gay … adding that there was nothing wrong with that. Apparently, that’s all that was said … but it lifted people up.
Let’s just say … Dave seems to be obsessed with trance-themed jokes – he did it during his Hollywood Bowl sets a few weeks ago … and even said something about the alleged intruder, Isaiah Leejoked that it was a “trans man” afterwards he was resolved.
As for John, he is said to have hugged Dave … but said nothing about the controversy that is unfolding now. It’s pretty closed – don’t hold your breath for a statement.
