Sources connected to Dondo Academy tell TMZ that the main problem preventing the school from operating as normal is the recent wave of staff firings due to Kanye’s anti-Semitic remarks.
Kanye’s hateful comments, we’re told his reflections on George Floyddeath and his “White Lives Matter” clothing. angered the educators at Dondo Academy, and it led to the departure of more and more teachers and staff.
As we reported … Kanye did his thing return to social media Wednesday night, saying, “My school is being closed.” He later deleted the post.
Also on Wednesday night, the school principal, Jason Angelsent an email to the students’ parents stating that “at the discretion of our founder, Dondo Academy will close immediately for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year.”
TMZ broke the story … in a surprising twist, the father sent another letter around midnight Wednesday to parents and students: “Join us tomorrow morning for a worship service for the return of Dondo Academy. With the help of our parents and community, we’re back and we’re coming back with a vengeance!”
So, some parents are already finding new schools for their children, while others want to stay in Dondo. These parents are trying to rally and get the students to gather at the school on Friday morning … but the fate of the school hangs in the air.
Among the teachers heading for the exit Tamar Andrews, an educational consultant who is also a major figure in two Jewish schools. The Hollywood Reporter reported for the first time Andrews has resigned from Dondo Academy, leaving earlier this month following anti-Semitic tweets by E.
