“Love is blind” season two star Iana McNeely has officially filed for divorce from Jarrett Jones after one year of marriage, E! News confirmed on October 4. According to court documents obtained by the outlet, McNeely filed in Cook County Circuit Court citing irreconcilable differences.
On August 17, the couple announced their separation Instagram. “After much consideration, we are saddened to announce that we have separated and will begin the divorce process,” they wrote in a joint statement. “Even though we love each other, our lives are going in different directions, and that’s okay. It was not an easy decision to make and we will always wish each other the best.”
The couple asked fans to give them space as they “close this chapter of our lives” and thanked their friends and family for their support. They concluded their statement by writing, “Thank you to the ‘Love Is Blind’ family and Netflix for this unforgettable opportunity and support. Each of you brought great love and joy to our lives. This experience taught us so much about ourselves, vulnerability and love. We do not regret anything!”
McNeely and Jones were one of two couples from the second season of “Love Is Blind” to tie the knot at the end of the season, which debuted on February 11 and ended on March 4. The couple announced their marriage during the show reunification of special and shared that they both “learned a lot” and “[grew] long since we first said “I do.” After the second season, they continued to show off their romance on social media and recently posted photos from a photo shoot in Instagram post dated June 20.
