High temperatures will only reach 70 degrees with mostly cloudy skies. A cold front is moving through southwest Florida during the morning hours. This will lead to cool and dry weather in the late afternoon and evening. Boaters will experience moderate swell and wave heights of two to five feet in our bays.
Short-term rains, weak thunderstorms are expected in some places, mainly before lunch. Severe weather is unlikely. The chance of rain will disappear late in the afternoon.
High temperatures will return to the 80s on Tuesday and Wednesday before a second cold front cools us down for the rest of the week.
