LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Leon County Sheriff’s Office announced an arrest Thursday in connection with possession of child abuse material and other offenses.

On Wednesday, the Leon County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a home located in the 1700 block of Bernay Boulevard and arrested 31-year-old Lazaro Martinez-Partido.

According to a press release from the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, Martinez-Partida faces misdemeanor counts of obscene material – possession of sexual material by a minor, violation of a domestic violence restraining order, voyeurism with a sexual video, first offense by age 19 years old and invalid. driver’s license.

LCSO said the investigation began in April. Detectives were able to link the illegal files to Martinez-Partido.

Law enforcement officials were able to obtain a search warrant for Martinez-Partido’s residence.

The press release notes that during the search, detectives found several electronic devices operated by Martinez-Partido. Evidence obtained during the investigation revealed several files containing material on sexual abuse of minors.

Martinez-Partida is in law enforcement custody and the case is ongoing.

The Leon County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with additional information about Martinez-Partido or any child exploitation case to contact the Sheriff’s County Crimes Against Children Task Force at 850-606-3300.
