The 12-team expanded playoffs began Friday with eight teams competing in a best-of-three wild-card series.

The Cleveland Guardians led Tampa Bay Rays2-1, in the first game of the day with the AL wild card.

Currently, Art St. Louis Cardinals take part in Philadelphia Phillies in the early afternoon NL wild card game, while Seattle Mariners to visit Toronto Blue Jays in Friday’s second AL wild-card game.
