TIMES SQUARE, MANHATTAN (WABC) — More signs went up in Times Square Saturday morning — in addition to the thousands of screens and billboards already in place.

New signs remind the public that Times Square is a gun-free zone.

About 200 similar signs will be installed in a week.

The move is part of an effort to combat gun violence in New York.
