New operators take over the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park, Manhattan

CENTRAL PARK (WABC) — The new operators will operate the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park.

Legends Hospitality will take over.

Mayor Eric Adams will make the announcement outside the famous Boathouse on Thursday morning.

Its previous owner, Dean Paul, said he could no longer operate the restaurant due to financial problems.

The Boathouse first opened in 1983.
