New York City Crime: Man fatally stabbed on MTA bus in Bronx

MOTT HAVEN, Bronx (WABC) — A man has died after being stabbed on an MTA bus in the Bronx.

It happened around 8:00 p.m. Sunday near 149th Street and Gerrard Avenue in Mott Haven.

Police say a 55-year-old man on bus BX19 was stabbed after an argument with another passenger.

The man was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

It is still unclear what led to the stabbing and whether the victim knew the attackers.

So far there have been no arrests.
