NEW JERSEY (WABC) – New Jersey Transit is adding extra service this Thanksgiving weekend, hoping to take some of the stress out of traveling.

On Wednesday at 7:00 p.m., the “Early departure” will start, that is, additional trains and buses will run.

In addition, a family super pass will be in place from Wednesday, allowing two children under the age of 11 to travel for free with a fare-paying adult.

On Thanksgiving Day, there will be extra trains and buses in the morning and early afternoon for everyone heading to and from the parade.

Additional buses will be running to malls across New Jersey on Friday.
