PATERSON, N.J. (WABC) – A New Jersey pickle factory was destroyed by a three-alarm fire.

The building on Allison Street in Patterson was home to a company called Pickle King.

When firefighters arrived on the scene Saturday morning, they said flames were coming through the roof.

There are two schools nearby, but neither was affected.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
