Phillies-Braves NLDS Game 2 postponed due to weather

The start of Game 2 of the NLDS between Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves will be postponed.

First pitch was scheduled for 4:35 PM ET/1:35 PM PT, but weather in Atlanta is delaying the start time. It is not yet known when Game 2 will start, as the Phillies, Braves and Major League Baseball are monitoring the situation. A high chance of rain in Atlanta for most of the day Wednesday, per FOX 5 Atlanta.

If necessary, Game 2 could be postponed to Thursday, the scheduled day off in the series. Both teams will then have to fly to Philadelphia before Game 3 on Friday afternoon with no scheduled travel day in between.

The Phillies took Game 1 on Tuesday, getting off to a sharp start and holding off a late comeback attempt by the Braves.
