Suffolk County (WABC) – Suffolk County Police have issued a silver warning for a missing teenager in Kings Park who is suffering from depression and may be suicidal.

Rachel Nugent, 14, was last seen leaving her home on Old Doc Road in Kings Park at around 6:45 a.m. Saturday. Investigators believe she could have traveled by train to New York and traveled outside the state.

Nugent’s height is 5 feet 1 inch 145 pounds with short black hair and braces.

She was last seen in a gray hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants with white stripes and white sneakers.

She was carrying a two-tone purse with long straps and clothes in a pink bag.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Newgent’s location to contact 911 or call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.

Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County to inform the public about people with special needs who are considered missing.
