Ray J worried fans after posting about suicidal thoughts and performance jumps in a series of videos where the ‘Hollywood Love and Hip Hop’ star appeared to be considering suicide.
In one video, a 41-year-old man filmed himself on an elevated surface as he approached a bright full moon, Page six reports.
“If it wasn’t for 4 my Kidz I would have jumped off and died tonight,” he captioned the now-deleted video Thursday night.

In another clip, Ray J can be seen sitting on a ledge with his feet hanging off the edge as he rolls to the ground below, asking fans if he should “just jump off and get it over with right now?!”

“SHOULDN’T I JUST JUMP OFF and be done with it [sic]. Now!!! ????” he captioned a similar, since-deleted video.
The singer, whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., also took to Instagram Stories and posted similarly disturbing videos and photos, captioning one video of the moon, “If I die tonight,” and adding another video of the earth below. .
“Trying to understand – maybe this life was an illusion – maybe the next life was my true reality,” he said in one clip.
A source close to Ray J says the singer is fine and that everything is fine despite the anxiety attacks
A source close to Ray J told Page Six that the singer is “fine” and that “everything is fine.” The source reportedly added that the videos were taken while on vacation with Princess Love, Ray J’s wife, partying and partying.
“He thought about posting a statement on Instagram about it, but changed his mind and blurted it out,” the insider concluded.
Meanwhile, a representative for Ray J did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on the matter.

By Friday morning, the videos had been removed, but fans were still expressing concern about the singer and media personality.

In Ray J’s latest posts, the singer has been focusing on his Instagram page mostly on his two children, daughter Melody Love, 4, and son Epic Ray, 2, who he shares with Princess Love.

In May, Ray J accused Kris Jenner and ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian of being involved in the release of the former couple’s infamous 2007 sex tape.
The Kardashian clan remained silent on the allegations for months until Jenner publicly denied the claims in a lie detector test she took on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” back in September.
The “Turnin’ Me On” singer responded by claiming that they did make three sex tapes and that he and Kim each received $400,000 from the sex recording contract.
