Kofkin appointed director of education for Aspiration Academy
Deborah Kofkin was appointed Director of Education at the Aspiration Academy.
Kofkin has more than three decades of teaching experience.
Her responsibilities at Aspiration Academy include overseeing the launch and success of the organization’s reading and math curriculum. She will track student progress by evaluating student data and collaborating with that student’s instructional team.
Aspiration Academy is a non-profit organization made up of people who care about the education of children in the community.
The academy provides additional training and tutoring for some high-potential students who have limited access to these opportunities.
