GAREND FRANKLIN, New Jersey (WABC) – Police have released a sketch of a suspect wanted for attempted sexual assault on a woman who was running around a park in New Jersey.

On Monday around 6pm, Franklin City Police answered call 911, which reported sexual assault on a park path near Blackwell Mill Road and Canal Road.

Officers said the victim reported being attacked by a man as she ran along the trail.

She said the suspect got off the bike he was riding and knocked her to the ground.

A fight broke out between the victim and her attacker when he tried to commit sexual assault.

Fortunately, the victim managed to fight off the suspect and escape, after which he called the police.

The victim was taken to the district hospital for treatment and subsequently released.

It is described that the suspect is about 30 years old, 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 7 inches tall, heavier physique, dressed in black plants or shorts, in a green hoodie and a blue galleon face mask.

According to officials, the suspect fled on a bicycle.

A compositional sketch of the suspect, created by a forensic expert, was published to find the man.
