The star of “Chess of Sunset”. Mike Shoehead he’s no longer facing domestic violence charges for allegedly roughing up his fiancee… that is, if he takes a few classes, including a gun safety course.
According to court documents, Mike struck a deal with prosecutors that dropped a number of misdemeanor charges from his domestic violence arrest. In particular, domestic violence, beatings and illegal attempts to dissuade a witness were stopped.

According to the documents, prosecutors agreed to allow Mike to enter a diversion program to close his case — meaning he will not have to plead to any charges as long as he successfully completes the terms of the program.
Mike agreed to attend anger management and parenting classes, as well as do community service and take a gun safety course.

Mike also faced several weapons charges – including criminal possession of a loaded firearm and possession of an assault weapon – so another condition is that he is now prohibited from owning or possessing any weapons during the 2-year diversion program.

Mike’s lawyer, George Mgdesyantells TMZ, “In this case, prosecutors didn’t pursue the case because they saw the facts, as I did. If this case had gone to trial, the prosecution would not have been able to prove it. All of my client’s guns were legal, in his bedroom, which was locked with a keyboard. No one was allowed in the master bedroom.’
He continues: “Unfortunately, my client had one gun registered before the law changed and that was a technical offence. However, the city prosecutor’s office accused him of stockpiling weapons. In light of the offer, he was not convicted and will receive a best-interest discharge because the domestic violence charges were dismissed. If the domestic violence charges were not dismissed, we would go to trial. It was pointless.”
Mike is due back in court in January for a progress report.
