Star “Selling Sunset”. Christine Quinn Protesters against fur stole her signatures under the book … and the video shows her hiding under a table during the rally.
She was about a third of her Sunday signing a book at Bookends Bookstore in Ridgewood, New Jersey, when protesters from an animal rights group began protesting against her wearing a fur coat.
As you can see, Christine is hiding under a table she used to hand out autographs … with protesters crowding around chanting and raising signs.
Christine sought refuge under the table because she and her team initially believed that someone involved in the protest could be armed. We were told that she thought there might be a weapon because one of the demonstrators climbed into his pants pocket in search of something.
Christine was signing for her new book, How to Be a Boss Bitch … and the protesters’ signs replaced “Boss Bitch” with “Base Bitch” and “Heartless Bitch”.
While the bookstore became chaotic, the protesters were shown the door, and that was the end of it.
It took Christine a few minutes to calm down … then she returned to signing the book, taking pictures with fans, including some who came all the way from Atlanta and Pittsburgh.
We are waiting for your permission to download Instagram Media.
Christine is waiting for a lot of subscription books … so it will be interesting to see if there will be new protests.
